The plants, animals, and small organisms living in the sea’s salty water is known as marine, sea, or ocean life. Ocean life is essential for our livelihood as oceans generate the oxygen necessary for a human being to survive on earth. The concept of marine conservation is to protect aquatic life through planned management to prevent resources.
Creatures depend on sea
As the ocean is the right place for vacations, but the sea is home for those small creatures who live in the salty water of seas. Animals like dolphins, turtle, fish, etc. live underwater for their livelihood. Whenever we go on any vacations, we throw the plastic, garbage, peels, etc. here and there on directly in the sea. This immature habit puts those innocent creatures in a problem. These creatures face difficulties in breathing, eating any more.
Reduction of Unemployment
Ocean industries are working on a project in which they need workers. Those industries will provide job opportunities to near about 40 million people worldwide. Due to heavy air pollution, seawater is getting spoiled, creating problems for those small organisms underwater. The garbage we throw here and there on roads directly move into the seas during heavy rainfall.
Sea Controls the Temperature of Earth
The heat rays which sun releases; caught by the sea and absorbed. It prevents the earth’s surface from overheating. The beams, which were drinking by the sea and seawater, became hot. Now, this hot water will be transporting towards equators to poles, and when the water reached the bars, it changes the temperature from hot to cold. Now, this cold water will go towards the tropics.
Medical Support
Whenever we got infected, got red-eye, or any other infection, our doctor will prefer to take antibacterial medicine. We get medical drugs from land, animals, etc. for treatment. Some medications are there for a few diseases and infections, which we get from sea plants and organisms, and live in oceans.
Plays a Vital Role in the Economy
Oceans also play a vital role in the economy of the world. One of every six persons is employed in a marine-related job in U.S. Oceans creates employment opportunities as if we have to go from India to U.s. and don’t want to go by air ocean is the second option to reach. Approximately 50% of the population lives near the coastal area in the U.S.
Many industries like fishing industries and more provide many job opportunities to the people of the U.S. Coastal region earns when tourists visit the area to enjoy and spend many earnings of them to enjoy.
Conclusion
As we have discussed above, many benefits of marine life become very important to conserve marine life. It provides our economic growth through tourism, fishing, and boating industries. It provides medical resources to recover many diseases, which are beneficial for human beings. Even oceans control the temperature of the earth’s surface. So it has become essential for us to conserve marine life by not throwing plastic and garbage anywhere in the open.
